Almost nobody raises it with a doctor. One survey found 72% were never asked.

So here is the answer without a hedge: the strip carries 19mg of iron and 400mcg of folate, printed on the Supplement Facts panel above, and every batch is assayed against that label claim before it ships. What changed is the format, not the amount.

The thinness is not a compromise. The thinness is the entire reason you will still be taking it in March.

A tablet you dread is a tablet you skip. A strip you do not have to swallow removes the step that people actually quit over — which, going by the numbers above, is not the iron at all.

On MTHFR, which I get asked about more than anything else: the CDC states that people with an MTHFR gene variant can process all types of folate, including folic acid, and that common MTHFR variants are not a reason to avoid it. cdc.gov — folic acid and MTHFR. If methylfolate specifically is a hard requirement for you, this is not your formula. I would rather say that than sell you the wrong thing.
