The supplement wasn't the idea.
The format was.

In 2025 I was consulting for a distribution company that sold oral pouches — nicotine and nootropic. My job was the commercial side. Somewhere in the customer feedback was a sentence that started this company.

Pouches work well for a lot of people. A pouch sits under your lip for twenty minutes, and that suits plenty of people perfectly well. It doesn't suit everyone — and women in particular kept saying the same thing: they'd rather have a strip.

It wasn't a complaint about pouches. It was a preference for a different format, from people otherwise happy with the category. Nobody in that business was going to act on it, because they sold pouches.

So the question I started with wasn't what should go in a supplement. It was why is taking one still this inconvenient.

The format wasn't new to me

I'd had it in my pocket for twenty years.

Those breath strips — the ones in the little plastic case that dissolve on your tongue in about a second. That's an oral dissolving film. The technology has been sitting in every checkout aisle in America since the early 2000s, doing one job: fresh breath.

Nobody had done much else with it.

There's one more reason I trusted the format

I get migraines. The medicine I take for them dissolves under my tongue.

That's a prescription drug. It has nothing to do with what we sell, and I'm not suggesting otherwise. But I remember the first time I used it and thinking: I didn't have to keep anything down.

Somebody had already worked out that at the exact moment you least want to swallow a tablet and drink a glass of water, you shouldn't have to. A pharmaceutical company made that decision for pharmaceutical reasons, ran the trials, and paid to prove it.

That's when I stopped thinking of a dissolving film as a breath-freshener trick and started thinking of it as a delivery format somebody had taken seriously.

Then I looked at my own cupboard

I take supplements. Vitamins mostly, protein powder, creatine. The powders were hard on my stomach and I stopped taking them more than once — not because I decided to, but because the routine broke and I never restarted it.

That's not discipline. That's format.

My daughter can't swallow pills. Not “doesn't like to.” Can't. That's more common than most people realise, and it's quietly the reason a lot of supplements go unfinished.

My wife tried a strip and that was that.

FLXStrips launched in February 2026. Thirteen formulas, because people want different things and one product was never going to cover it.

Take CORE

Most people taking vitamin D never buy the K2 that usually goes with it. Not a new ingredient — just a better chance of actually keeping it up.

Me on CORE, and where a strip fits in a routine you already have. Sound on.

A film, not a pill

A capsule is a shell with something inside it. A strip is the thing itself, pressed into a film thin enough to see light through. There is nothing to break down and nothing to get past.

You tear open the sachet, put it on your tongue, and it dissolves. No water. Nothing to swallow.

The last tested ENERGY batch disintegrated in 38 seconds. The specification is not more than 60.

Every number on this page is measured

My background is software and hardware — SaaS products and physical devices. Not supplements. I came to this category as an outsider, read a lot of it with fresh eyes, and noticed how many numbers were printed without a source anywhere near them.

So we run it the other way round. If a figure appears on this site, there is a document behind it and you can have a copy.

Take the last tested ENERGY batch, lot KUNJ2501. The strip disintegrated in 38 seconds, against a specification of not more than 60. The lab measured the caffeine at 102.9% of what the label claims — in other words, a strip that says 50mg contained slightly more than 50mg, well inside the 90 to 110 percent tolerance manufacturing is allowed. Both figures sit on a certificate with that lot number printed on it, and we will send it to you.

Which is why you will not find an absorption percentage here. You will see strip products advertised at eighty and ninety percent, with diagrams showing delivery straight to the bloodstream. Ask where those figures come from and which product they were measured on. We print numbers that come with a document. That one does not.

Before the gym

One sachet, one strip. 50mg of caffeine with 30mg of L-theanine, pre-measured, nothing to swallow and no water needed.

At the desk

Four mushrooms at 25mg each — lion's mane, maitake, cordyceps and shiitake — in a single-serve sachet that fits a pocket.

Made in the USA, and we can show you

Every FLXStrip is manufactured in the United States in a facility that is FDA-registered, GMP-certified, and holds NSF/ANSI 455-2 certification for oral dissolving films — a third-party certification against a published standard, rather than our own testing of our own product.

Those describe the facility, which is exactly what we say they describe. A mark goes on this page when we hold the paperwork for it, and we'll send you that too.

Ask and we'll send the certificate for the lot you received. Not a sample one. Yours.

If it isn't right, we'll make it right

Tell us within 30 days and we'll refund your first order in full — as store credit if you'd like to try a different formula, or back on your card if you'd rather.

There's nothing to send back. Opened tins can't be resold, so returning them helps nobody. We won't ask you to justify it and we won't ask for paperwork.

Compare that with most of this category, where returns have to be unopened and inside two weeks. A promise you can only use on a product you haven't tried isn't much of a promise.

Not sure which one?

Thirteen formulas is a lot to choose from cold. Three questions, about sixty seconds, and we'll point you at the one most worth starting with.

Or write to me directly — hello@flxstrips.com. It's a small company and I read it.
